First time there. We were a party of six. Due to a misunderstanding, my food came out wrong. It was quickly replaced. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great selection of draft beers. Smoked chicken cheesesteak was very good. Nachos were good and crispy and held up well to the really good amount of toppings on them. The server was friendly and fun.

Well managed country hotel. It is really a bar and restaurant of local comfort and traditional decor. The wait staff are dedicated to their jobs, the prices are local which means huge bargains by NYC standards. Great spot for those who want to feed the family or just looking for some relaxation at the bar.

Good atmosphere, very nice service and awesome food. Try the house made breakfast sandwich delicious.

AWESOME CHEESESTEAK. That's all that needs to be said. Although the rest of the food and service is great. Very caring wait staff. Wide variety of food and drink for all appetites. Thanks for the extra BBQ sauce for Mom. 😉

We have eaten at this place a few times since they opened and have been disappointed every time and after our experience last evening, we will not be returning. We arrived at 9:45 p.m. and they handed us the late night menu (which starts at 10 p.m.). We asked for a regular menu and they said that all they could offer was late night menu which is very limited. We ordered nachos which came out looking like something from a fast food restaurant. The was a blob of processed cheese in the middle and a bit of cold chili. The sour cream which we asked for on the side was spoiled. Once I took my first bite with the sour cream and realized the sour cream was spoiled, I could not continue eating. The server never came back around till my husband was finished with his chicken fingers. We told the server about the sour cream and she apologized and took it away but never offered to refund us for the nachos. The food here is not good and I do not recommend this place.

We had takeout dinner tonight for the first time and everything was amazing. From the smoked ribs to the smoked chicken wings to the brisket chilli and the coleslaw. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous!! Not to mention the slushies were amazing! We will be back soon. Highly recommend this restaurant! If I could give a ten star review I would!!

Excellent food, very reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere. In-house smokehouse and weekly specials, been there a few times and always get something different, have been delighted every time.

We stopped in after buying a car at Nazareth Ford. We were pleasantly surprised that it was Trivia night. We didn't win but we had a blast! Good drinks, good food, our server Derek was great.

Stopped in for a quick bite and a drink. Atmosphere on the inside was nice, service was fast, Buffalo Chicken wrap and house made chips were very good.

Food is delicious. Pricing reasonable. Staff very friendly & nice. Definitely will go back again.

The places does get busy, but always great service and amazing food. The remodel looks great as well, the slate bar top really adds to the name. I will continue recommending this place to friends and family. The only suggestion I have is to pave the parking lot and have painted parking spots.

Very expensive. $12 hamburgers almost $5 for a Coors light draft beer. Not a bar for the working man. Check the other reviews 3 out of 5 say prices are way too high for bar food. You can get a steak at a steak house for less lol. Greedy owner! I know a few people that work there. Ask any employee when is the last time they had a raise. They will tell you last time was when they worked some place else! Four or more years working there and not one raise is the norm. Greed ...prices insane and no raises for any one EVER. Owner Cheap and greedy ! There "fresh cut fries" are frozen from a bag employee told me lol then I was told well they were fresh cut at some point...just bagged froze and sent to us....Well that's NOT house cut fries like you advertise !!!!

Bee here several times for dining and also take out during pandemic. I recommend this place ,very good eats.if it weren’t for some minor service issues, I would rate 5 stars

A warm and welcoming local joint. I miss it so much having moved out of the area. Food is out of this world and the beer selection is top notch. The staff makes you feel like you are at home even when the place is jam packed.

Slate Quarry has always been a great place to go for dinner. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is cozy. The recent remodel has made the restaurant more inviting. I usually order the Jumbo Shrimp Scampi Pasta, but I’ve noticed it’s been really watery (mostly water) the past 2 times. It’s been so watery, it’s been more like a soup. Kind of disappointed because it’s so good. I hope the remodel hasn’t prompted changes to the existing menu items. I’ve always appreciated the wonderful menu offered by Slate Quarry, please don’t change it too much!Edit: I just went back to Slate Quarry this week and Shrimp Scampi Pasta was PERFECT.

The smoked feast special was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our party of five all enjoyed their meals. Will definitely try again when in that area.

This was my first time eating here got the steak sandwich with provolone and it was extremely dry and bland. I don’t know how they did it but every possible molecule of moisture was taken out of that meat. Also didn’t have any onions or cheese on it. Heard the salads were good though

Our luncheon was great. We were 17 members. The food, service and room were comfortable and delicious.. Everyone enjoyed the Slate Quarry Hotel. We will go back.

The definition of your local favorite pub. The staple you always go back to when you want a good meal, lots of choices, and fun atmosphere. I ordered the “Wrecked Wings”, which is Parmesan Garlic wing sauce and Hot Honey sauce mixed together. Surprisingly good. Wings are breaded and deep fried. Good quality wings that are not over sized and feel unnatural. Will 100% be going back.

Cheesesteak was okay. Fries are cooked till they are like potato chips with no moisture remaining. Not a fan of these french fries. Only edible with ketchup. This is not a onetime occurance. It seems to be their standard fries.. based on my last 3 visits. There is better food elsewhere for the same or lower prices.

Sorry but no no no. Food was nasty cold. I got the pork BBQ now normally when you say work BBQ sandwich that means 2 BUNS!! Not one! Then the girl said the fries come with it so we asked for sweat potato fries and she didn’t once say it would be extra or I wouldn’t have gotten them who charges 3$ extra for what she told us comes with the meal? My self works at a restaurant and any type of fries we sell can go as a side!!

They have very good food

Fair prices and great company, the food hits the spot and the staff is quick and sociable. Get there early on Friday, Saturday, Sunday if you want good seating. Fried Mozzarella is a favorite. Trivia on Thursday night at 8pm
